Meet Britain's young princess of high society, Gina Rio.

The pampered lass gets 10,000 pounds (S$19,920) allowance each month, lives in a luxury hotel, owns 300 designer shoes and 70 handbags, and claims she 'could never date someone who is poor'.

The 23-year-old was featured in Britain's The Sun last month and was dubbed as "Britain's most spoiled girl".

She told the paper that she cannot imagine life without any money and not being able to pay to have her hair done "would be the worst thing ever".

According to the report in The Sun, Gina's dad Paul left the family for another woman when she was 14. She demanded a fortune from him and was paid a generous sum of 20,000 pounds each month until she was 17.

Despite her massive pocket money, Gina has not managed to save a penny and uses it all on socialising, hair and clothes.

Her father, who owns a construction company, reportedly splurged 10,000 pounds on her 16th birthday. He has since cut her allowance when she fell out with him over his new woman.

However, Gina's mum Teresa continues to give her 10,000 pounds a month. Gina also earns her keep of 2,000 pounds a month as a personal stylist.

She told The Sun that she needs her parents to buy her things to prove they love her and when she found out her dad bought his mistress a Hermes bag, she wanted one that was bigger and better.

"I think the most expensive item was a Hermes handbag which cost 20,000 pounds.

"I wanted him to prove that he loved me more than her, because she's horrid," said Gina.

The Londoner who trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School told The Sun that she blew 50,000 pounds on her father's credit card in just two days on clothes and clubbing.

Gina eats out every day because she does not know how to cook and is currently living at the luxury Savoy hotel in central London, while her house in King's Cross is being renovated. Top rooms at the Savoy cost up to 20,000 pounds a month and her dad is footing the bill.

She told The Sun that her mum had bought the house for her ages ago and she reckons it would have cost at least a million pounds.

To Gina, an "average" car is a Mercedes SLK convertible worth 30,000 pounds and was a gift from her mum.

When it comes to drinks, Gina says she loves her Cristal champagne and Bellini cocktails. And unlike most girls her age, she has never stepped in budget clothing store Primark.

Gina said she and her 23-year-old rapper boyfriend EckSell spend 25,000 pounds a night when they go clubbing. She said she was impressed when she found out his family is rich - EckSell's dad is the owner of a sauce brand that is sold in Harrods.

When it comes to her future plans for her own children, Gina told The Sun that she wanted them to have a nice life like her but she didn't want them to take money for granted like how she used to do.

Gina said ever since her allowance was cut, she realised she had to cut back on her spending and instead of buying things for the sake of it, she now buys clothes that she really likes.

Gina claims her 38-year-old brother Sebastian is even more spoiled than she is. She said he wasted a lot of their parents' money on his failed business ideas.

Gina compares herself to socialite Tamara Ecclestone, who is famously pampered by her dad, president of Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone.

"I like Tamara - she's pretty and she seems nice.

"Of course, she wants for nothing and sometimes I think I'm just as bad as her," said Gina.
