As the Black Entertainment Television BET Awards holds in Los Angeles, California in the United States on Sunday, musicians from Africa are eager on who grabs the Best International Act award.
The award which will be hosted by ace comedian, Chris Tucker will have great performances from American pop diva, Mariah Carey, Nicky Minaj, Ciara and Soul singer, Eryka Badu.
Already leading in the African nominees’ category is award winning Nigerian star artiste, Tu Face Idibia , who will slug it out with another Nigerian and emerging star rapper, Ice Prince.
Competing with the duo are R2bees from Ghana, Radio and Weasel from Uganda, Donald from South Africa and Toya Delazy from South Africa.
Ice Prince is already in the States. He was spotted early in the week posing with an American rapper inNew York City.
Beyonce is up for a tight contest with Rihana, Alicia Keys Tamar Braxton and Elle Varner in the Best Female R&B/ Pop category.
For the male R&B / Pop, Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Migue jostles for the star award.
2Chains is the favourite to win the Best male hip hop category over Justin Timberlake, Kendrick Lamar. Others star awards are in the female hip hop, the Best Collabo and Best Video Director.
